When you say &quot;Randall and David didn’t build a complete system this way&quot; you are correct if you mean they didn&#039;t create a dedicated VM for Us. But they did implement the full language in a way similar to what you did here. It was really slow, but could run toy applications.

Also thanks for the list of papers citing Us. The VPRI work on &quot;worlds&quot; is similar and it was frustrating to me that they didn&#039;t seem aware of the older project. But now I saw their report in this list, so I was wrong about that.]]></description>
